BUCCANEERS SIGN J.T. GRAY TO PRACTICE SQUAD

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today signed defensive back J.T. Gray to the team's practice squad. Additionally, the team has released practice squad offensive lineman Karsen Barnhart.

Gray (6-0, 202) has appeared in 99 career games between the New Orleans Saints (2018–24) and Denver Broncos (2025). A one-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro selection on special teams (2021 first-team, 2019 and 2024 second-team), Gray has recorded 89 career special teams tackles – second-most in the NFL since he joined the league. On defense, he has contributed an additional 14 tackles (one for loss), three fumble recoveries, 2.5 sacks, two quarterback hits, one forced fumble and one pass defensed. Gray played collegiately at Mississippi State University (2014–17), appearing in 46 career games and totaling 211 tackles (14.5 for loss), eight passes defensed, 4.0 sacks, one forced fumble and one interception (returned 58 yards for a touchdown). The Clarksdale, Mississippi, native will wear No. 48 for Tampa Bay.
