Bucs Open Preseason on WTTA/ Great 38

The Buccaneers will open their preseason on WTTA/ Great 38 on Thursday night.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers open their preseason slate on Thursday night at 7 p.m. against the Philadelphia Eagles in a game that will be broadcast live locally on WTTA/Great 38.

WFLA-TV/News Channel 8, the official television station of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will produce and broadcast three of the four Buccaneers' preseason games.

With the Summer Olympics airing on WFLA, the Buccaneers' first two preseason games will be shown on sister station WTTA/Great 38. The final home preseason game will be broadcast on WFLA/News Channel 8.

Chris Myers will handle the play-by-play duties with Buccaneers legend Ronde Barber providing color commentary and News Channel 8's Dan Lucas reporting from the sidelines.

WFLA-TV/News Channel 8 and WTTA/Great 38 Buccaneers Broadcast Schedule:

  • Thursday, August 11, at Philadelphia – 7 p.m. on WTTA/Great 38
  • *Saturday, August 20, at Jacksonville – 7:30 p.m. on WTTA/Great 38

  • Thursday, September 1, vs. Washington – 7:30 p.m. on WFLA/News Channel 8
