Adam Pinkoski enters his third season with the Buccaneers as the club's Assistant Director of Performance Science. In this role, Pinkoski works with Vice President of Performance Science Dave Hamilton to cultivate a sports science program that emphasizes athlete health and performance.
Pinkoski assists with athletic activity monitoring systems and analyzing the data collected on and off the field using a variety of performance technologies. He also evaluates medical trends and ongoing health and wellness data to further develop best practices within the coaching staff and performance team.
Prior to joining Tampa Bay, Pinkoski worked in the biotech sector, specializing in the development of electromyography and other physiological measurements for performance and health applications.
Pinkoski is an award-winning instructor in Exercise Sciences at the undergraduate and graduate level, specializing in cadaver anatomy and health assessment. He was the youngest recipient of the Last Lecture Award in the University of Alberta's history.
Adam holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Alberta, specializing in injury prevention. He also graduated from Loughborough University receiving his Masters of Science in Musculoskeletal Sport Science and Health, and the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. Adam is an active author in peer-reviewed research with publications focused on professional athletic populations, injury prevention and knowledge translation across high performance environments.
A native of Edmonton, Alberta, Pinkoski currently resides in Tampa with his wife, Jenny.
