After working alongside his father Malcolm to successfully acquire the Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise in 1995, Glazer worked tirelessly in conjunction with his brother, Bryan, to build a community consensus for local approval of what would become Raymond James Stadium. The Glazers set out to design a stadium deemed worthy of a first-class organization, thereby creating a winning environment and revolutionizing fan experience and comfort.

Since assuming his current role with the club, the Buccaneers have made 12 playoff appearances, including a stretch from 1999-2002 in which Tampa Bay was the only team in the league to appear in the postseason all four years. Under the Glazer family's ownership, the Buccaneers have won eight division titles, two NFC Championships and two Super Bowls.

Prior to the 2020 season, Glazer helped engineer the boldest free agent signing in franchise history with the acquisition of six-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady. The signing, along with the addition of a number of other key players, immediately transformed the Buccaneers into title contenders and set the stage for the team's historic victory in Super Bowl LV. When the Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 on February 7, 2021, at Raymond James Stadium, it marked the first time in NFL history that a team had won a Super Bowl on its home field. Previous to that, the franchise's other signature historical moment occurred at the conclusion of the 2002 season when Tampa Bay claimed its first NFL title with a 48-21 victory over the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII on January 26, 2003, in San Diego. The Buccaneers, who were making their first appearance in the NFL's championship game, also claimed the first-ever NFC South title in 2002, then the fourth division crown in team history. Tampa Bay also took the NFC South in 2005, 2007, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

On January 8, 2019, the Glazer family hired two-time Associated Press NFL Coach of the Year Bruce Arians as the team's head coach. During three memorable seasons at the helm in Tampa Bay, Arians finished his time with the Buccaneers as the franchise leader in winning percentage (.633) by a head coach, surpassing Tony Dungy. After Arians transitioned into a front office role, Glazer was then part of the decision-making process that elevated Todd Bowles from defensive coordinator to head coach ahead of the 2022 NFL season. In each of Bowles' first three seasons at the helm, the Buccaneers captured the NFC South title.

Beyond his responsibilities with the Buccaneers, Glazer remains highly active in league affairs and represents the franchise at NFL meetings. He currently serves as Chairman of the NFL International Committee and is also a member of the Finance Committee, Media Committee and NFL Management Council Executive Committee. Glazer additionally played an instrumental role in Tampa's successful bids to host Super Bowl XXXV in 2001, Super Bowl XLIII in 2009 and Super Bowl LV in 2021.

Over their more than three decades of ownership, the Glazer family has maintained a deep commitment to the Tampa Bay community through the Glazer Family Foundation, which focuses on improving opportunities and resources for the underserved across the region. The Foundation has left an indelible impact on the Tampa Bay area through lead gifts that have supported the construction of the Glazer Children's Museum in downtown Tampa in 2010 and the Glazer Family Playground at the St. Petersburg Pier in 2020. In February of 2026, the Foundation's multimillion-dollar donation to the AdventHealth Tampa Foundation resulted in the naming of the Glazer Center for Medical Education, which provides critical training resources for AdventHealth's graduate medical education programs. In recognition of its far-reaching philanthropic impact, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission named the Glazer Family Foundation its Foundation of the Year at the inaugural Sneaker Soirée in 2011.

During times of crisis, the Glazer family has also regularly stepped up to assist the Tampa Bay community. At the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Glazer family provided five million meals through a donation to Feeding Tampa Bay. In 2024, they donated a total of $2 million for local hurricane relief efforts and created the Glazer Family Small Business Fund, which provided financial grants to hundreds of local businesses in the Tampa Bay and West Central Florida areas.

Glazer also serves as Co-Chairman of Manchester United, which has captured five Premier League titles (2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013), one Champions League title (2008), five League Cups (2006, 2009, 2010, 2017 and 2023), two FA Cups (2016, 2024), and one Europa League Championship (2017) during his tenure. His work with the club led to his naming as one of the Top 10 most influential Americans in the United Kingdom by The Telegraph.

Glazer earned his bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from American University in 1989. The Rochester, New York, native is married to Angela, and the couple has two children.
