Has made four consecutive Pro Bowls (2021-24) — the most by an offensive lineman in franchise history, surpassing Tony Mayberry (three), and tying Jimmie Giles for the third-most selections among all offensive players in team annals, trailing only Mike Alstott (six) and Mike Evans (five). In 2024, totaled 1,012 offensive snaps and, per Pro Football Focus metrics, yielded just 11 quarterback hurries, one quarterback hit, and zero sacks. PFF credited him with a 93.7 pass blocking grade, highest among all qualified linemen.

Per Pro Football Focus, was 1-of-2 tackles to play 800+ offensive snaps in 2024 and not allow a sack, joining Lane Johnson.

Among tackles with 500+ pass blocking snaps in 2024, Wirfs ranked second in the NFL with a quarterback pressure rate allowed of 4.7%.

Was a pivotal member of a 2024 Buccaneers offense that established franchise records in completion percentage (71.5%), passer rating (106.8), rushing yards (2,536), yards per rush (5.3) and third-down conversion rate (50.9%).

In 2023, totaled 1,233 offensive snaps, including the postseason, and per Pro Football Focus (PFF) metrics, he yielded just five sacks and just six quarterback hits over 19 games played in his first season after making the transition from right tackle to left tackle.

Started all 16 games in 2020 and was part of an offensive line that allowed a sack on 3.51 percent of all pass attempts, the second-lowest mark in the NFL and the second-lowest mark in a season in team history. Helped block for an offense that ranks second in passing yards per game (289.1), third in points per game (30.8), seventh in yards per game (384.1), seventh in yards per play (6.04).

Started at Detroit (12/26/20), helping the Buccaneers total a team-record 588 yards of total offense.

Started at left tackle and played all 48 offensive snaps in the Week 2 victory at the Detroit Lions. Contributed to an offensive line that scored on 40% of non-kneel-down drives.

Started at left tackle in Week 3 vs. Denver, playing all 57 offensive snaps.

Started at left tackle in the Week 4 win over Philadelphia, playing all 77 offensive snaps and contributing to an offensive line that helped generate 445 net yards of offense. The Buccaneers posted a +218 net yardage differential over the Eagles in the 33-16 win.

Started at left tackle in Week 5 at Atlanta, playing all 53 offensive snaps and contributing to an offensive line that generated a then-season-high 160 rushing yards on an average of 6.2 yards per carry.

Started at left tackle in the Week 6 win over New Orleans, playing all 77 offensive snaps and contributing to an offensive line that helped produce 594 net yards of offense — the highest single-game mark in franchise history.

Started at left tackle and played all 82 offensive snaps in Week 7 vs. Baltimore, contributing to an offensive line that helped produce 30+ points of offense for a league-leading fifth time through the first seven weeks of the season.

Started at left tackle and played all 73 offensive snaps in Week 8 vs. Atlanta, contributing to an offensive line that helped generate over 400 net yards of offense for the third consecutive game.

Started at left tackle and played all 55 offensive snaps in Week 9 at Kansas City. Contributed to a Tampa Bay offense that scored 24 points — the second-most given up by the Chiefs in a single game in the 2024 season at the time.

Played 17 snaps in Week 10 vs. San Francisco before leaving with injury. During his limited time, Wirfs was Tampa Bay's highest-graded offensive player according to Pro Football Focus, earning a 75.4 overall offensive grade.

Was inactive for the Week 12 win at the New York Giants. x In the Week 13 win at the Carolina Panthers, started at left tackle and played all 80 offensive snaps, contributing to an offense that generated over 200 rushing yards for the second time in the 2024 season.

According to Pro Football Focus, was Tampa Bay's second-highest graded player in the Week 13 win, earning an 86.1 overall offensive grade.

Started at left tackle in the Week 14 win over Las Vegas, playing all 62 offensive snaps and contributing to an offensive line that helped generate over 400 net yards of offense for an NFL-leading seventh time in the 2024 season.

Started at left tackle and played 69- of-72 offensive snaps in the Week 15 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, contributing to an offensive line that helped generate over 500 yards of offense for the second time in the 2024 season — becoming the second team to have multiple such performances in 2024.

In Week 16 at Dallas, started at left tackle and played all 72 offensive snaps, contributing to an offensive line that helped generate over 400 net yards of offense for a league-leading ninth time in 2024.

Started at left tackle and played 66-of-77 offensive snaps in the Week 17 win over the Carolina Panthers, contributing to an offensive line that helped produce 551 net yards of offense — the sixth-most in a single game in team history. The Buccaneers beat the Panthers 48-14, tying the franchise record for the most points scored in a home game.

In the Week 18 win over the New Orleans Saints, started at right tackle and played all 67 offensive snaps, contributing to an offensive line that produced over 100 rushing yards for the eighth straight game and for the 14th time in 18 games.

Finished the season as Pro Football Focus' highest-graded pass blocker, earning a 93.7 overall grade.

Started at left tackle in the Wild Card round against the Washington Commanders, playing all 48 offensive snaps and contributing to an offense that produced over 100 rushing yards and a passer rating of 146.5.

COLLEGE:

Started 32 career games at Iowa (2017- 19), seeing time at both right and left tackle.

As a junior (2019), earned first-team All-America honors from the Football Writers of America, Walter Camp Foundation and Phil Steele, while being named second-team All-America by the Associated Press, American Football Coaches Association and The Athletic.

Earned the Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year in the Big Ten, while garnering first-team All-Big Ten distinction from the league's coaches and media, as well as The Associated Press and Phil Steele. Also a semi- finalist for the 2019 Outland Trophy.

Named honorable mention All-Big Ten by both league coaches and media after starting all 12 at right games he played in as a sophomore (2018).

Started in seven games as a freshman (2017), becoming the first true freshman to start at either offensive tackle position in the Kirk Ferentz era.

Received honorable mention Big Ten Conference All-Freshman team designation from BTN.com, as well as the team's Next Man In award on offense.

Majored in communication studies.

PERSONAL/COMMUNITY:

Attended Mount Vernon High School (Mount Vernon, Iowa).

Played offensive and defensive line in high school.

Selected to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl following prep career.

Named to Des Moines Register Elite all-state team as a senior, while also being named captain of 2A Iowa Newspaper Association all-state.

As a senior, was named district offensive line MVP and Class 2A Iowa Preps Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Named first-team all-district for three straight seasons.

Also lettered in track and wrestling during his prep career, winning a state wrestling championship as a senior, shot put as a junior and senior and discus in his sophomore, junior and senior years.

Just the fourth Iowa male prep to win shot and discus titles in consecutive years and the first to win three straight discus titles since the 1950s.

Mother is Sarah Wirfs.

In 2020, supported the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital as part of the NFL's My Cause, My Cleats initiative.
