According to Pro Football Focus, Wirfs finished the 2025 season as the second-highest graded offensive lineman in the NFL, earning a 92.7 overall grade and trailing only Detroit's Penei Sewell. He totaled 777 snaps at left tackle and yielded just two sacks — tied for the third-fewest among any left tackle with 750+ snaps.

Recorded his first career catch in Week 13 of the 2025 season — a two-yard touchdown reception ­ — becoming the fifth offensive lineman in franchise history to record a touchdown catch, joining Leonard Wester, Donald Penn, Randall McDaniel and Ron Heller.

In 2024, totaled 1,012 offensive snaps and, per Pro Football Focus metrics, yielded just 11 quarterback hurries, one quarterback hit, and zero sacks. PFF credited him with a 93.7 pass blocking grade, highest among all qualified linemen.

Per Pro Football Focus, was 1-of-2 tackles to play 800+ offensive snaps in 2024 and not allow a sack, joining Lane Johnson.x Among tackles with 500+ pass blocking snaps in 2024, Wirfs ranked second in the NFL with a quarterback pressure rate allowed of 4.7%.

Was a pivotal member of a 2024 Buccaneers offense that established franchise records in completion percentage (71.5%), passer rating (106.8), rushing yards (2,536), yards per rush (5.3) and third-down conversion rate (50.9%).

In 2023, totaled 1,233 offensive snaps, including the postseason, and per Pro Football Focus (PFF) metrics, he yielded just five sacks and just six quarterback hits over 19 games played in his first season after making the transition from right tackle to left tackle.

Started all 16 games in 2020 and was part of an offensive line that allowed a sack on 3.51 percent of all pass attempts, the second-lowest mark in the NFL and the second-lowest mark in a season in team history. Started at left tackle in the Week 5 win in Seattle, playing all 61 offensive snaps and contributing to an offensive line that helped produce a then-season- high 426 net yards of offense and an 87.9% completion rate on pass attempts.

In the Week 6 win over the San Francisco 49ers, started at left tackle and played all 53 offensive snaps. Contributed to an offensive line that generated 7.0+ yards per play for the second straight week, becoming the first team in the 2025 season to record multiple such games.

In Week 11 at Buffalo, started at left tackle and played all 70 offensive snaps, contributing to an offensive line that produced a then-season-high 202 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

Per Pro Football Focus, was Tampa Bay's highest-graded player in Week 11 at Buffalo, earning a 79.6 overall grade.

Started at left tackle in Week 12 at the Los Angeles Rams, playing all 70 offensive snaps and contributing to an offensive line that generated over 100 rushing yards on the day.

In the Week 13 win over the Arizona Cardinals, started at left tackle and played all 61 offensive snaps, contributing to an offense that produced its seventh game without a turnover — tied for the second-most in the NFL at the time.

In Week 13, Wirfs brought in a two-yard receiving touchdown from Baker Mayfield, marking his first career reception and his first touchdown of any kind. Wirfs became the fifth offensive lineman in franchise history to record a touchdown reception, joining Leonard Wester, Donald Penn, Randall McDaniel and Ron Heller. He was the first offensive lineman in the NFL to record a touchdown catch in 2025.

In Week 15 vs. Atlanta, started at left tackle and played all 69 offensive snaps, contributing to an offensive line that helped produce a then-season-high 28 first downs.

Per Pro Football Focus, Wirfs was Tampa Bay's highest-graded player in Week 15, earning a 97.0 overall grade. The 97.0 mark was the highest-graded game of his career at the time.

Started at left tackle in Week 16 at Carolina, playing all 64 offensive snaps and contributing to an offensive line that produced 169 rushing yards and 5.1 yards per carry, marking the 10th time in 2025 that the team had eclipsed 100 rushing yards in a game.

Per Pro Football Focus, was Tampa Bay's highest-graded player in Week 16, earning a 90.3 overall grade.

Through 16 Weeks, Wirfs had the second-highest overall offensive grade of any offensive lineman (92.0), per Pro Football Focus.

Was inactive for Week 17 at Miami.

Started at left tackle in the Week 18 win over Carolina, playing all 67 offensive snaps and contributing to an offense that ran the ball a season-high 42 times for 140 yards.

COLLEGE:

Started 32 career games at Iowa (2017- 19), seeing time at both right and left tackle.

As a junior (2019), earned first-team All-America honors from the Football Writers of America, Walter Camp Foundation and Phil Steele, while being named second-team All-America by the Associated Press, American Football Coaches Association and The Athletic.

Earned the Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year in the Big Ten, while garnering first-team All-Big Ten distinction from the league's coaches and media, as well as The Associated Press and Phil Steele. Also a semi- finalist for the 2019 Outland Trophy.

Named honorable mention All-Big Ten by both league coaches and media after starting all 12 games at right tackle as a sophomore (2018).

Started in seven games as a freshman (2017), becoming the first truefreshman to start at either offensive tackle position in the Kirk Ferentz era.

Received honorable mention Big Ten Conference All-Freshman team designation from BTN.com, as well as the team's Next Man In award on offense.

Majored in communication studies.

PERSONAL/COMMUNITY:

Attended Mount Vernon High School (Mount Vernon, Iowa).

Played offensive and defensive line in high school.

Selected to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl following prep career.

Named to Des Moines Register Elite all-state team as a senior, while also being named captain of 2A Iowa Newspaper Association all-state.

As a senior, was named district offensive line MVP and Class 2A Iowa Preps Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Named first-team all-district for three straight seasons.

Also lettered in track and wrestling during his prep career, winning a state wrestling championship as a senior, shot put as a junior and senior and discus in his sophomore, junior and senior years.

Just the fourth Iowa male prep to win shot and discus titles in consecutive years and the first to win three straight discus titles since the 1950s.

Mother is Sarah Wirfs.

In 2020, supported the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital as part of the NFL's My Cause, My Cleats initiative.
