COLLEGE:

Appeared in 41 career games across one season (2025) at the University of Arizona, one season (2024) at West Virginia University and three seasons (2021-23) at Duquesne University, combining to record 152 total tackles (9.5 for loss), 26 passes defensed, five interceptions, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and  blocked kick.

Started all 13 games in his lone season at Arizona in 2025, recording 43 tackles (1.5 for loss), eight passes defensed and one interception while helping lead the Wildcats to the nation's top-ranked pass efficiency defense (97.2 average opponent passer rating).

Spent the 2024 season at West Virginia, appearing in six games before an injury shortened his campaign. Finished with 25 tackles (1.0 for loss) and one pass defensed.

In the 2023 season at Duquesne, started all 12 games and finished with 51 tackles (5.0 for loss), 11 passes defensed, two interceptions, 1.0 sack and one fumble recovery, earning First- Team All-Northeast Conference honors.

Appeared in 10 games in 2022, accumulating 33 total tackles (2.0 for loss), four passes defensed, two interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a blocked kick.

Redshirted his freshman season in 2021.

PERSONAL:

Attended Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School (Drexel Hill, Pa.).

Was a three-star recruit and ranked among Pennsylvania's top defensive back prospects coming out of high school. Named to the 2020 Pa. Football Writers First Team All-State in Class 4A.

Has donated bone marrow several times, helping people in need through the National Marrow Donor Program.

Majored in communications studies.

Son of Jerelle Holden and Kevin Garnes.

Has one brother, Bryce.
