In his career, has converted 126-of-148 (85.1%) field goal tries and 175- of-179 (97.8%) extra point attempts for a total of 553 kicking points.

Has appeared in three career playoff games, converting 6-of-7 (85.7%) field goal tries and 7-of-7 (100%) extra points for a total of 25 kicking points.

McLaughlin's 93.7% field goal success rate (59-of-63) as a member of the Buccaneers is the best mark in franchise history (min. 50 attempts).

Has successfully converted 32-of39 (82.1%) attempts from 50-or-more yards, the second-highest success rate in NFL history among players with at least 30 attempts.

Has established a new Buccaneers single-season franchise record for field goal percentage on two occasions, most recently in 2024 when he went 30-for32 (93.8%). Previously accomplished the feat in 2023 (93.5% — 29-of-31).

2024 HIGHLIGHTS:

In the Week 1 victory over the Washington Commanders, McLaughlin went 3-for-3 on field goal tries, converting from 56, 34 and 29 yards out. He also went 4-for-4 on point after tries, combining for a total of 13 kicking points.

McLaughlin's three made field goals in Week 1 extended his regular season consecutive field goals made streak to 21.

McLaughlin went 2-for-2 on field goal attempts in the Week 2 win at Detroit, converting from 30 yards and 55 yards out. He also added two extra point tries for a total of eight kicking points.

With his two field makes in Week 2, McLaughlin extended his regular season consecutive field goals made streak to 23.

Saw action on one point after try in Week 3 vs. Denver, converting it successfully.

In the Week 4 win over Philadelphia, successfully converted 2-of-2 field goal attempts, connecting from 21 and 52 yards out. Also went 3-of-4 on point after tries for a total of 9 kicking points.

Went 3-for-3 on field goal attempts in Week 5 at Atlanta, converting successfully from 53, 32, and 53 yards out. Also added three extra points for a total of 12 kicking points.

With his three made field goals in Week 5, McLaughlin set a new franchise record for consecutive field goals made at 28, surpassing Connor Barth (25).

In Week 5, McLaughlin became the first Buccaneers kicker with two-or-more made field goals from 50+ yards in a single game since Connor Barth in 2012.

In the Week 6 win over New Orleans, went 1-for-1 on field goals, converting from 26 yards out to extend his franchise-record consecutive field goals made streak to 29. Also added six extra points, for a total of nine kicking points in Tampa Bay's 55-27 win.

In Week 7 vs. Baltimore, went one-for-two on field goal tries, adding two point after attempts for a total of five kicking points. By making his first field goal of the night, McLaughlin extended his franchise record for consecutive regular season field goals made to 30 before snapping it later in the game.

In Week 8 vs. Atlanta, McLaughlin converted his only field goal try of the day, connecting from 52 yards out. He added three extra points for a total of six kicking points.

Converted his only field goal try of the night in Week 9 at Kansas City, adding three extra point makes for a total of six kicking points.

With his made 47-yard field goal in Week 9, McLaughlin had made 31 consecutive field goals inside of 50 yards dating back to the 2023 season.

In Week 10 vs. San Francisco, he converted both of his field goal tries on the day, connecting from 26 and 30 yards out. He extended his streak to 35 consecutive field goals made from within 50 yards.

Went 1-for-1 on field goal tries in the Week 12 win over the New York Giants, converting from 23 yards out. Also added three extra point makes for a total of six kicking points.

In the Week 13 win at Carolina, converted 4-of-5 field goal tries, successfully connecting from 27, 26, 51, and 30 yards out. Also added two extra point tries for a total of 14 kicking points.

In the Week 13 win, McLaughlin made a 50-yard game-tying field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter, and then hit a game-winning 30-yard field goal in overtime.

Went 4-for-4 on point after attempts in the Week 14 win over Las Vegas, collecting four kicking points.

In the Week 15 win over the L.A. Chargers, went 4-for-4 on field goal tries, connecting from 22, 37, 42 and 43 yards out. Also added a 4-for-4 effort on point after tries, giving him a total of 16 kicking points.

Successfully converted his lone field goal try in Week 16 at Dallas, connecting from 45 yards out. Also went 3-for-3 on extra point attempts for a total of six kicking points.

Went 2-for-2 on field goal tries in the Week 17 win over Carolina, connecting on tries from 23 and 24 yards away. Also went 6-for-6 on point after attempts for a total of 12 kicking points.

In the Week 18 victory over New Orleans, went 2-for-2 on field goal tries on the day, converting from 52 yards and 25 yards out. McLaughlin's 52-yarder marked his 15th field goal make of 50+ yards since joining the Buccaneers in 2023 – tied with Connor Barth for the most in franchise history.

Finished the 2024 season 30-of-32 (93.8%) on field goal tries, establishing a single-season franchise record for the second straight year.

Between the 2023-24 seasons, McLaughlin went 59-for-63 (93.7%), on field goal attempts, with his 93.7% success rate ranking second in the NFL over that span.

In the Wild Card round against Washington, went 2-for-2 on field goal tries, connecting from 50 and 32 yards out. His two made field goals from 50+ yards out in Tampa Bay playoff contests are the most in franchise history.

COLLEGE:

Appeared in 33 games across three seasons at the University of Illinois (2016- 18), converting 44-of-59 (74.6%) field goal tries and 79-of-79 (100%) extra point attempts after walking onto the team as a freshman in 2014.

As a senior, he led the Big Ten in field goals per game

In 2018, won the Bakken-Andersen Big Ten Kicker of the Year award and was voted first-team All-Big Ten

Attended Cypress Woods High School (Cypress, Texas) where he lettered in football and soccer.

Majored in mechanical engineering at Illinois.
