2024 HIGHLIGHTS:

Started at wide receiver in the Week 1 victory over the Washington Commanders, playing 50-of-64 offensive snaps and bringing in eight receptions (on eight targets) for 83 yards and one touchdown.

With his touchdown reception in Week 1, Godwin Jr. moved into second place in franchise history in touchdown receptions (35), breaking a tie with Jimmie Giles. Godwin Jr. gained sole possession of the second-most receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns in team history — trailing only teammate Mike Evans.

Was Tampa Bay's highest-graded player in Week 1, according to Pro Football Focus, earning a 90.5 overall grade. Godwin Jr.'s 90.5 grade led all wide receivers in the league in Week 1.

In the Week 2 victory at Detroit, Godwin Jr. started at wide receiver and played 38-of-48 offensive snaps, finishing with seven receptions for 117 yards and one touchdown.

In Week 2, Godwin Jr. recorded 117 receiving yards in the first half, marking the sixth time in his career that he has logged at least 100 receiving yards in a single half. The 117 yards were his third-most in any single half of his career, and his most since Nov. 24, 2019 at Atlanta when he recorded 151 yards in the first half.

Godwin Jr. was Tampa Bay's highest-graded player in the Week 2 victory at Detroit, per Pro Football Focus, earning a 90.0 grade. His 90.0 grade was the highest grade among all wide receivers in the NFL in Week 2, giving him that designation through each of the first two weeks of the 2024 season.

His 200 receiving yards in Weeks 1-2 were the most of his career through the team's first two games of a season, and the seventh-most in team history through two games.

In Week 3 vs. Denver, played 51- of-57 offensive snaps and hauled in six receptions for 53 yards and one touchdown. It marked the third consecutive game in which he's recorded a touchdown.

Godwin Jr.'s touchdown reception in Week 3 marked the fourth time that Godwin Jr. has logged touchdown receptions in three straight games, and the first such occurrence since Weeks 15-17 of the 2020 season.

Through Week 3, Godwin Jr. ranked tied for first in the NFL with three touchdown receptions, tied for third with 21 receptions, and seventh in the NFL with 253 receiving yards.

Played 66-of-77 offensive snaps in the Week 4 victory over Philadelphia, hauling in six receptions for 69 yards.

With his performance in Week 4, Godwin Jr. eclipsed 7,000 career receiving yards and joined Mike Evans as the only players in franchise history to reach that milestone.

Godwin Jr.'s performance in Week 5 marked his sixth straight regular season game with five-or-more receptions and 50+ receiving yards, dating back to last season, which is the longest active streak in the NFL.

Played 72-of-77 offensive snaps in the Week 6 win over New Orleans, bringing in a team-high 11 receptions for 125 yards and two touchdowns.

Godwin Jr.'s Week 6 performance against New Orleans gave him nine career receiving touchdowns versus the Saints — the most of any active player. Godwin Jr. became one of four players in NFL history to have 7+ touchdown receptions and average 70+ receiving yards against the Saints (min. 8 games), joining Isaac Bruce, Joey Galloway and Mushin Muhammad.

Godwin Jr.'s performance in Week 6 marked the eighth time in franchise history that a player has recorded 10+ receptions, 100+ receiving yards and 2+ receiving touchdowns, and the first since Mike Evans accomplished the feat in Week 18 of the 2022 season against the Carolina Panthers. It marked Godwin Jr.'s second time recording such a stat line, joining Week 4 of the 2019 season against the Los Angeles Rams.

In Week 6, 105 of Godwin Jr.'s 125 receiving yards came after the catch, tying his career high for a single game. Through six weeks, Godwin Jr. led the NFL in yards after catch with 335.

Through six weeks, Godwin Jr. led the league in receptions (43), was tied for the league lead in receiving touchdowns (five), ranked third in receiving yards (510), and had the third-highest Pro Football Focus grade among all wide receivers (87.6).

In Week 7 vs. Baltimore, played 70-of-82 offensive snaps and hauled in seven receptions for 65 yards before leaving with injury. Godwin Jr.'s performance in Week 7 marked his 55th game with 5+ receptions and 50+ receiving yards since 2019 — good for second-most in the NFL over that span.

At the time of his injury, Godwin Jr. led the league in receptions (50) and yards after catch (350), ranked second in receiving yards (576) and was tied for third in receiving touchdowns (five).

Was placed on Injured Reserve prior to Week 8 vs. Atlanta.

COLLEGE:

Played in 40 games, with 28 starts, catching 153 passes for 2,404 yards (15.7 avg.) and 18 touchdowns.

Ranks fourth in Penn State history in touchdown receptions (18) and receiving yards (2,404), while standing at seventh on the all-time reception list (153).

Recorded nine 100-yard receiving games (three in 2016, five in 2015 and against Boston College in the 2014 New Era Pinstripe Bowl) and five games with multiple touchdown catches (four in 2016, one in 2015).

Started all 14 games as a true junior (2016), catching 59 passes for 982 yards and 11 touchdowns. His 11 touchdown receptions were the second-most in a single season in Penn State history.

Earned All-Bowl team honors from NCAA.com, Sports Illustrated, Athlon Sports (second team) and Associated Press (honorable mention), while also being named to the ESPN.com Big Ten All-Bowl Team.

In the Rose Bowl against USC, recorded a career-high and Penn State bowl record 187 receiving yards, the fourth-most in Rose Bowl history, while adding two touchdown catches, which tied the school's bowl game record.

During his sophomore season (2015), started 11-of-13 games caught 69 passes for 1,101 yards and five touchdowns. He became one of only three Penn State receivers to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards in a season (also Bobby Engram & Allen Robinson) and his 1,101 yards are the second-most in a single season in school history.

Named All-Big ten by the Big Ten media (second team) and coaches (third team), while earning second-team All-Big Ten honors from the Associated Press.

As a true freshman (2014), was named to the BTN.com Big Ten All-Freshman Team after playing in 13 games with three starts, catching 26 passes for 338 yards and two touchdowns.

Earned ESPN.com All-Bowl Team honors after catching seven passes for 140 yards and one touchdown against Boston College in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.

In 2019, Godwin Jr. launched his foundation. The Team Godwin Foundation helps provide at-risk children and animals a second chance through advocacy and financial support.

Sponsored service dogs for two Army veterans in partnership with K9s For Warriors, aiding in PTSD recovery.

Donated $50 per reception to fund shelter dog rescues and promote adoptions.

Raised over $82,000 through his MVP Initiative to support pets impacted by hurricanes and natural disasters.

In 2020, supported his Team Godwin Foundation as part of the NFL's My Cause, My Cleats initiative.

Godwin Jr. sat in on bail and probation hearings at the Hillsborough County Courthouse to gain perspective on the criminal justice system.

As a response to COVID-19, Godwin Jr. invited Bucs fans to send him a tweet shouting out an unsung hero and rewarded first responders around the country.

In December 2017, visited Lopez Elementary School in Seffner to present a $10,000 Fuel Up to Play 60 Hometown Grant, an initiative developed by the NFL to provide grants to support physical activity and nutrition programs in school districts.

In December 2017, visited patients battling illness at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg to raise their spirits during the holidays.

In June 2017, toured MacDill Air Force Base to greet military servicemen and servicewomen and learn about the important role that the base plays in the Tampa community and beyond.

In June 2017, went go-karting with first-year members from Tampa Fire Rescue.
