Was elevated from the practice squad for the Week 8 win at New Orleans, but did not play.

Was promoted to the active roster prior to Week 13.

Was inactive for Weeks 13-18.

COLLEGE:

Appeared in 58 career games across six seasons at the University of Missouri (2019–21), Indiana University (2022), and Bowling Green State University (2023–24), completing 1,151 of 1,828 passes (63.0%) for 12,349 yards, 66 touchdowns and 39 interceptions.

As a sixth-year senior in 2024, started all 13 games for Bowling Green and led the MAC in completion percentage (66.9%) and passing yards (3,044), while ranking second in the conference in passing touchdowns (18). Earned third-team All-MAC honors.

In his first season at Bowling Green in 2023, appeared in 10 games and threw for 1,935 yards and 12 touchdowns on 168-of-278 (60.4%) passing.

Transferred to Indiana in 2022 and started nine games, completing 235-of-426 passes (55.2%) for 2,312 yards, 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Became the first Indiana quarterback since 1998 to pass for over 300 yards in a debut.

As a redshirt sophomore at Missouri in 2021, started all 11 games and completed 246-of-377 passes (65.3%) for 2,548 yards, 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

As a redshirt freshman in 2020, named SEC Co-Freshman of the Year after completing 218-of-324 passes (67.3%) for 2,366 yards, seven touchdowns and six interceptions in 10 starts.

Appeared in three games as a true freshman in 2019 before suffering a season-ending injury; completed 15-of-21 passes (71.4%) for 144 yards and one touchdown.

PERSONAL:

Attended Archbishop Alter High School (Kettering, Ohio).

Majored in communications at Bowling Green.

Was a four-star recruit and rated among the top 10 quarterbacks in Ohio by ESPN.

Is the son of Lenny and Kelley Bazelak.

Has two older sisters, Maddie and Libby, both of whom were collegiate athletes at Duquesne.
