COLLEGE:

Appeared in 45 career games across five seasons (2020–24) at West Virginia University, playing quarterback and completing 398-of-700 passes (56.9%) for 5,370 yards, 36 touchdowns and 19 interceptions, while adding 352 carries for 2,128 rushing yards and 28 rushing touchdowns.

As a sixth-year senior in 2024, started 11 games and completed 189-of-315 passes (60.0%) for 2,300 yards, 15 touchdowns and 12 interceptions; also rushed 134 times for 734 yards and six touchdowns.

In 2023, started all 12 games and passed for 2,406 yards with 16 touchdowns and four interceptions, while rushing 120 times for 772 yards and a team-leading 13 touchdowns.

In 2022, appeared in nine games (two starts), completing 43-of-78 passes for 493 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions; also rushed 45 times for 276 yards and five touchdowns.

Saw action in 11 games in 2021 as a backup, completing 16-of-26 passes for 147 yards and rushing 47 times for 306 yards and four touchdowns.

Appeared in two games as a true freshman in 2020, completing 3-of-4 passes for 24 yards and rushing six times for 40 yards.

PERSONAL:

Attended Chiles High School (Tallahassee, Fla.).

Was a four-star recruit; passed for 2,917 yards and 25 touchdowns and rushed for 2,660 yards and 31 touchdowns in high school.

Majored in sports management at West Virginia. Studied business administration for his graduate degree.

Is the son of Charlie and Blake Greene.

His father, Charlie, played several years in Major League Baseball as a catcher for the New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, Milwaukee Brewers and Toronto Blue Jays, and currently works as the Bullpen Coach for the Brewers.

Has one brother.
