COLLEGE:

Appeared in 49 career games across six seasons (2020-25) at the University of Kansas, completing 734-of-1,193 passes (61.5%) for 9,282 yards and 67 touchdowns while adding 1,445 rushing yards and 23 rushing touchdowns.

Finished his collegiate career ranked second in Kansas history in passing yards, passing touchdowns, completions and pass attempts, while tying the school record for career rushing touchdowns by a quarterback.

Became one of only two players in program history to surpass 10,000 career yards of total offense.

Started all 12 games in 2025, completing 198-of-319 passes (62.1%) and setting career highs in passing yards (2,531) and passing touchdowns (22) while adding 404 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. Was named a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy and the Pop Warner College Football Award following his senior season.

Started all 12 games in 2024, completing 171-of-300 passes (57.0%) for 2,454 yards and 14 touchdowns while adding 447 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns.

Limited to three starts in 2023 due to injury, completing 56-of-75 passes (74.7%) for 705 yards and five touchdowns while leading Kansas to victories in each of his three starts. His 74.7 completion percentage ranked among the nation's leaders at the time of his injury.

Led Kansas to a 5-0 start in 2022, helping the Jayhawks earn their first national ranking since 2009. Completed 152-of-230 passes (66.1%) for 2,014 yards and 18 touchdowns while rushing for 425 yards and seven touchdowns, earning second-team All-Big 12 recognition.

Appeared in six games with three starts in 2021, completing 81-of-117 passes (69.2%) for 860 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 83 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

Appeared in seven games with six starts as a true freshman in 2020, completing 76-of-152 passes for 718 yards and one touchdown while rushing for three scores. Became the first true freshman quarterback to start a season opener for Kansas since 2010.
