Appeared in 38 career games with 36 starts across three seasons (2023-25) at the University of Miami, totaling 121 tackles (33.5 for loss), 20.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, three passes defensed and one interception.

Started all 16 games as a junior in 2025, recording 54 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, one interception, one forced fumble and one blocked field goal, earning consensus All-America
honors, a first-team All-ACC nod, and being named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year.

Won the Ted Hendricks Award in 2025, becoming the first player in University of Miami history to earn the honor presented annually to the nation's top defensive end.

Led the nation with 83 quarterback hurries in 2025 while earning a 92.5 Pro Football Focus defensive grade, ranking third among all FBS edge defenders.

In 2025, helped lead Miami to its first National Championship Game appearance since the 2002 season.

Delivered standout performances during Miami's postseason run in 2025, posting five tackles, a career-high four tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks and one blocked field goal in Miami's First Round Playoff victory over Texas A&M, adding 1.0 sack in the Cotton Bowl against Ohio State before posting a season-high eight tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.0 sack in the National Championship Game against Indiana.

Earned ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year honors as a freshman in 2023 after recording 44 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. His 7.5 sacks in 2023 tied for
the most among all FBS freshmen.

Helped lead Miami Central to four consecutive Florida state championships.

Was a consensus four-star recruit and ranked among the nation's top defensive end prospects.

Is the son of Rueben Bain Sr. and Lachande Thompson.

His uncle, Tolbert Bain, playeddefensive back at Miami and was a member of the Hurricanes' 1987 national championship team.

Is the cousin of former Buccaneer and current NFL cornerback Carlton Davis III.
