She is Football Scholarship

She is Football Scholarship

The She is Football Scholarship, made possible through a $250,000 commitment from the Glazer family and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation, was established for graduating high school seniors participating in a form of football (flag, tackle, touch) with plans to enroll in a full-time accredited four-year college or university. The Buccaneers were the first NFL team to create an academic scholarship program of this kind when it was established in 2020.

Coach of the Week

Coach of the Week

The Buccaneers High School Coach of the Week program is driven by the community, where local coaches are nominated for a weekly award determined by student and fan voting. The program celebrates a deserving coach with a $2,000 grant from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation to support the school's football program across tackle and flag. The Buccaneers were the first NFL team to establish a Coach of the Week program dedicated solely to girls' flag football.

The Jr. Bucs Middle School Flag Football Program enhances the flag football curriculum for nearly middle school students by providing Buccaneers flag kits, equipment and instruction. Students in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco County school districts participate in a flag football program in either the fall or spring semesters, during which they also receive special visits and instruction from certified flag football instructors and Buccaneers Legends.

Raise the Flags in Schools

The week leading up to a Buccaneers home game, all local schools are invited to show their Buccaneers pride as part of "Raise The Flag Fridays", a community activation to spread Bucs spirit. Throughout the year, the team visits local elementary schools for a pep rally, bringing Buccaneers players, cheerleaders and Captain Fear to get the students ready for game day.
