Free agency has slowed down dramatically, the NFL Draft is still three weeks away and, well, a lot of us are spending most of our time at home these days. While there is still hope the NFL's 2020 season won't be affected by the current national health crisis, there's no way to know when football players will be back on football fields.

Until then, allow me, someone who knows a lot about Buccaneer history, to offer you, a Buccaneer fan, one very small diversion. Each work day in the month of April, I'm going to bring you a Daily Buccaneers Trivia question. It could be about that upcoming draft, it could be about something that happened last season, it could be about players from the team's past. It's not going to be easy.

Every work day in April I'll post one question here at 10:00 a.m. ET and also share it on Twitter. At 4:00 p.m. ET, I'll update the story to include the answer and share that on Twitter as well. There's no prize, just the pride you'll get from knowing your team and its history well. And this isn't multiple choice; you'll have to figure out the answer for yourself.

Now, obviously, the answers to some of these questions will be relatively easy to look up online. See if you can challenge yourself first before resorting to that solution. Today's kickoff question is, in fact, about the draft, but not the one that starts this April 23rd.

Bucs Daily Trivia Question, April 1:

Barring trades, the Buccaneers will make the 14th, 45th, 76th, 117th, 139th, 161st and 194th picks in this year's draft. Tampa Bay has never before picked a player at number 14, though they have twice exercised the 45th pick. (And pretty well, too: Randy Grimes and Brian Kelly.) The Buccaneers have also made the first pick in the draft on five occasions, but that is NOT the most common draft slot at which they have picked over the last 44 drafts.

That would be pick number 34, where the Buccaneers have selected six players over the years. And that's today's question: How many of the six players selected exactly 34th overall in the draft by Tampa Bay can you name?

Hint: Two of them are running backs and two are wide receivers. Hint number two: One of them was within the last five years.

Come back at 4:00 p.m. ET for the answer!

**

Answer: The six players the Buccaneers have drafted with the 34th-overall pick are, in reverse chronological order, Penn State T Donovan Smith (2015), Florida WR Jacquez Green (1998), Florida RB Errict Rhett (1994), Notre Dame LB Demetrius DuBose (1993), Missouri RB James Wilder (1981) and Pittsburgh WR Gordon Jones (1979).
