The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made many eat their words, this one included when Jameis Winston and Mike Evans tore up those who added them to their lineups
The rookie quarterback costed a quick trip to the bank for owners at $6,500 and Winston tallied 20.38 FanDuel points thanks to two passing touchdowns, 297 passing yards and five rushing yards. The Buccaneers fell to the Redskins by one point, but that didn't stop another stellar performance for the Bucs.
Mike Evans is back and better than ever. The wide receiver made his presence known in Week 3 against the Houston Texans scoring 13.60 FDP. He didn't have any touchdowns for the Bucs, but still stood out with 101 receiving yards and seven receptions for the win. Week 7 however, Evans gave 26.40 FDP for owners with 164 receiving yards, a touchdown and eight receptions. It's about time those two connected.
Another running back who had a high-scoring week was Miami Dolphins' Lamar Miller who accumulated 37.10 points. The former Miami Hurricane had 175 rushing yards, 61 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in the 44-26 win against Houston Sunday.
A highly anticipated rookie this season finally had his day on the gridiron scoring 30.30 FDP for owners. St. Louis Rams' Todd Gurley had 128 rushing yards, 35 receiving yards and two rushing touchdowns. The rookie helped the Rams defeat the Cleveland Browns 24-6 on Sunday.
Stepping outside of the running back game, Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins was at the top of the quarterback performers with 30.18 points. This means he outscored Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady who tallied 29.7 FDP. Cousins cost you only $6,300 on FanDuel and gave owners three passing touchdowns, 317 passing yards and a rushing touchdown. Go ahead and brush your shoulder off, Cousins; owners, do the same.
