The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that the team has signed kicker Cairo Santos.
Santos (5-8, 160) originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2014. He played with Kansas City from 2014-17, before being waived and joining the Chicago Bears during the 2017 season. He spent time with the New York Jets this past offseason and played in two games for the Los Angeles Rams earlier this year. In his career, he has played in 55 games, connecting on 95-of-113 field goals (84.1 pct.) and 132-of-188 extra points (95.7 pct.).
A native of St. Augustine, Florida, Santos played collegiately at Tulane.
