The Florida Lottery announced Wednesday a partnership with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to offer a Buccaneers-themed Scratch-Off game. Just in time for football season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game is currently on sale at select retailers and will be available at Lottery retailers statewide beginning Tuesday, August 3.

"Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans are extremely loyal to their team, and we felt a Buccaneers Scratch-Off game would be well received by football fans and Lottery players alike," said Florida Lottery Secretary Leo DiBenigno. "Players will enjoy the excitement of the game, and the second chance prizes offered are sure to generate cheers from fans throughout the state."

Florida Lottery players will be able to show their Tampa Bay Buccaneers team spirit while having the chance to win up to $100,000. In addition to the top prize, the $5 Scratch-Off game offers cash prizes ranging from $5 to $5,000, and allows players to win up to 12 times on the same ticket. The game's overall odds of winning are one in 4.01.

"We are thrilled to be teaming up with the Florida Lottery in the creation of this exciting new Buccaneers-themed Scratch-Off game," said Buccaneers Co-Chairman Bryan Glazer. "It is fantastic to be able to develop exclusive Buccaneers prize elements for our fans, some of which are only available by playing."

Throughout the fall season, players will be able to enter non-winning Tampa Bay Buccaneers Scratch-Off tickets in a second-chance promotion offered on the Lottery's website. Six second-chance drawings will be held on August 18, September 8, September 29, October 20, November 10 and December 1 for prizes that include season tickets, team jerseys, an away game trip, VIP experiences and more. Additional information will be available on the Lottery website beginning Tuesday, August 3.

Florida voters, by a two-to-one margin, approved a constitutional amendment in 1986 authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education. Today, Floridians continue to show their support by purchasing nearly $4 billion in Lottery products per year, resulting in contributions of more than $21 billion to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund since 1988.
