Started at quarterback in the Week 1 victory in Atlanta, completing 17-of-32 passes for 167 yards and three passing touchdowns compared to zero interceptions to earn a 99.3 passer rating. Also added 39 rushing yards on five carries. Threw the go-ahead touchdown to Emeka Egbuka with 59 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.

Week 1 marked Mayfield's 11th game with three-or-more passing touchdowns since joining the Buccaneers prior to the 2023 season — the second-most in the NFL over that span at the time, and trailing only Cincinnati's Joe Burrow.

Mayfield was the only NFC quarterback to throw for three-or-more touchdowns in Week 1.

In the Week 2 win at Houston, Mayfield completed 25-of-38 passes (65.8%) for 215 yards and two touchdowns compared to zero interceptions to earn a 98.0 passer rating. In the game, Mayfield eclipsed 25,000 career passing yards.

Week 2 marked the second consecutive game in which Mayfield orchestrated a game-winning drive in the final moments, leading the Buccaneers on an 11-play, 80-yard drive in 2 minutes and 4 seconds which resulted in a game-winning touchdown run from Rachaad White with six seconds remaining.

With his game-winning drive in Week 2, Mayfield became the first quarterback since Brett Favre in 1999 to lead game-winning touchdown drives with under 2 minutes and 30 seconds left in regulation in back-to-back games.

Through 2 weeks, Mayfield ranked tied for third in the NFL with five passing touchdowns.

In the Week 3 win over the New York Jets, Mayfield completed 19-of-29 passes (65.6%) for 233 yards and one touchdown pass, compared to zero interceptions, to generate a 101.7 passer rating, adding four carries for 44 yards.

Through Week 3, Mayfield had thrown for six touchdowns with zero interceptions, making him 1-of-3 players (also, Baltimore's Lamar Jackson and Buffalo's Josh Allen) to have at least five passing touchdowns without a single interception.

Mayfield was 1-of-2 quarterbacks to record a 98.0-or-higher passer rating in each of the first three weeks of the season (also, Indianapolis' Daniel Jones).

Week 3 marked Mayfield's eighth straight game with a passer rating of 93.0-or-higher, the longest such streak in the NFL at the time, with the next highest streak being three such games.

During Tampa Bay's last possession in Week 3, Mayfield completed two passes for 47 yards and generated a 93.8 passer rating while leading Tampa Bay into scoring position. At the time, Mayfield led the NFL in passer rating (101.6), passing yards (571), and was tied for the league lead in passing touchdowns (five) with under two minutes remaining in regulation (min. 50 pass attempts) since he joined the Buccaneers.

In Week 4 vs. Philadelphia, completed 22-of-40 passes for 289 yards and two passing touchdowns compared to one interception to earn an 84.0 passer rating. With his 289 passing yards, Mayfield surpassed Steve DeBerg (9,439) for the eighth-most passing yards in franchise history.

Week 4 marked the first time since Week 13 of the 2024 season that Mayfield generated a passer rating below 93.0, snapping the longest-such streak (eight games) in the NFL.

Mayfield's two passing touchdowns in Week 4 came on a 77-yard completion to WR Emeka Egbuka and a 72-yard completion to RB Bucky Irving, marking the first time in Mayfield's career that he's thrown multiple touchdown passes of 70-or-more yards in a single game.

Week 4 also represented just the second time in franchise history that a Buccaneers quarterback had multiple 70+ yard touchdown passes, joining Ryan Fitzpatrick on Sept. 16, 2018 vs. Philadelphia. Prior to Mayfield doing so in Week 4, Fitzpatrick was the last player in the NFL to record such a performance.

Through Week 4, Mayfield was tied for third in the NFL in passing touchdowns (eight) and tied for fourth in touchdown-to-interception ratio (8:1).

Had a career performance in the Week 5 win at Seattle, completing 29-of-33 passes (87.9%) for 379 yards and two touchdowns, with zero interceptions, earning a 134.7 passer rating. His 87.9 completion percentage was the then-highest mark by any quarterback in the 2025 season, and was the second highest of his career behind only his 90.5 completion percentage (19-of-21) on 9/19/21 vs. Houston as a member of the Cleveland Browns.

In Week 5, Mayfield became the first quarterback in NFL history with 375+ passing yards and fewer than five incompletions in a regular season game, per CBS Sports.

With his performance in Week 5, Mayfield became one of four players since the 1970 merger with 375+ passing yards and a completion percentage above 85.0% in the same game, joining Tom Brady (10/18/09), Lamar Jackson (10/11/21) and Justin Herbert (9/24/23).

Mayfield's 87.9% completion rate in Week 5 was the then-highest single-game mark in franchise history (min. 30 attempts).

Mayfield averaged 11.48 yards per attempt in the Week 5 victory against the Seahawks — the second-best markin his career at the time, trailing only his 13.6 average on 12/17/23 at Green Bay.

In leading the Buccaneers to their fourth comeback win and fourth victory with a last-minute score, Mayfield went 10-for-11 for 143 passing yards and two touchdowns while Tampa Bay was trailing in Week 5, generating a perfect 158.3 passer rating.

Per Pro Football Focus, Mayfield's 92.2 overall offensive grade was the highest among all quarterbacks in Week 5.

Through Week 5, Mayfield ranked tied for third in passing touchdowns (10), tied for fourth in touchdown-to-interception ratio (10.0), fourth in passing yards (1,283) and ninth in passer rating (104.4).

In the Week 6 win over the 49ers, Mayfield completed 17-of-23 passes (73.9%) for 256 yards and two touchdown passes compared to zero interceptions for a 139.0 passer rating.

In Week 6, Mayfield also recorded a 15-yard scramble on a third-and-14 in the

third quarter, generating 27 yards after contact as he avoided a sack in the backfield. Per Next Gen Stats, Mayfield had just a 3.7% chance of picking up the first down via run at the onset of the play. The Buccaneers scored two plays later.

Between Weeks 5-6, Mayfield completed 82.1% of his passes — the highest mark among any quarterback over that span. His 137.7 passer rating over that stretch also led all quarterbacks.

Across Weeks 5-6, Mayfield posted consecutive performances of averaging at least 11.0 yards per attempt – the first such span by any quarterback in 2025.

With his performances in Weeks 5-6, Mayfield became just the ninth quarterback in NFL history to complete at least 82% of his passes while averaging at least 11 yards per attempt across multiple games within a single season, joining Jared Goff (2024, twice), Brock Purdy (2023), Ryan Tannehill (2015), Alex Smith (2012), Peyton Manning (2008), Kurt Warner (1999), Rob Johnson (1997) and Ken Anderson (1974).

Through Week 6, Mayfield ranked tied for third in the NFL in touchdown passes (12), tied for fourth in touchdown-to-interception ratio (12.0), fourth in passing yards (1,539) and sixth in passer rating (108.5).

In Week 7 at Detroit, completed 28-of-50 passes for 228 yards and one touchdown with one interception.

Through Week 7, Mayfield ranked sixth in the NFL in passing yards (1,767) and tied for sixth in passing touchdowns (13).

In the Week 8 win at New Orleans, completed 15-of-24 passes for 152 yards, earning an 80.6 passer rating and his 25th regular season win as starting quarterback of the Buccaneers, which broke a tie with Josh Freeman and Vinny Testaverde for the sixth-most in franchise history.

In Week 10 vs. New England, completed 28-of-43 passes (65.1%) for 273 yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions to earn a 106.1 passer rating. It was Mayfield's second game with three-or-more passing touchdowns of the season and his 12th since the start of the 2023 – tied for the most in the NFL at the time over that span.

Through 10 Weeks, with 16 passing touchdowns compared to two interceptions on the season, Mayfield's 8.0 TD/INT ratio ranked fourth in the NFL.

Mayfield's 99.2 passer rating through Week 10 was the fourth-best mark by a Buccaneers quarterback through Week 10 of a season in franchise history (minimum six starts), trailing Ryan Fitzpatrick in 2018 (107.3), Tom Brady in 2021 (106.1) and himself in 2024 (103.6).

In Week 11 at Buffalo, completed 16-of-28 passes for 173 yards and one touchdown. He added a rushing touchdown and averaged 7.8 yards per rush, taking five carries for 39 yards.

In Week 12 at the Los Angeles Rams, completed 9-of-19 passes for 41 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions before leaving with injury.

In the Week 13 win over Arizona, Mayfield completed 18-of-28 passes (64.3%) for 194 yards and one touchdown with zero interceptions to earn a 96.4 passer rating on the day. It marked Mayfield's seventh game of the year in which he recorded a passer rating of 96.0 or higher, tied for the sixth-most such performances by a quarterback through 13 Weeks.

Through Week 13, Mayfield owned a 3.8 touchdown-to-interception ratio on the season. Among passers with at least 250 attempts at the time, it was the fifth-best mark in the NFL.

In Week 14 vs. New Orleans, Mayfield completed 14-of-30 passes for 122 yards and one touchdown pass. It marked his 20th consecutive home start with a touchdown pass, the then-longest active streak in the NFL and longest such streak in Buccaneers' history.

In Week 14, Mayfield produced a team-high 7.0 yards per carry, running six times for 42 yards — his second-highest total in a game this season.

Mayfield ran for three first downs on the day, including two on third down. Through Week 14, Mayfield's 208 rushing yards and 9.0 yards per carry on third downs led all quarterbacks (min. 15 rushes). His 17 first downs when running the ball on third down were the second-highest total by a quarterback at the time, trailing only Buffalo's Josh Allen.

In Week 15 vs. Atlanta, completed 19-of-34 passes (55.9%) for 277 yards and two touchdowns compared to one interception to earn a 90.0 passer rating. It marked Mayfield's third-highest yardage output in a game in 2025 at the time. It was his eighth game in 2025 with a passer rating of 90.0-or-higher ­— tied for the ninth-most in the NFL at the time.

In Week 16 at Carolina, completed 18-of-26 passes (69.2%) for 145 yards andone touchdown with one interception for a 79.8 passer rating. His 69.2% completion rate was his third-highest mark in a game this year.

Mayfield added a season-high 45 yards on the ground across four carries in Week 16, averaging 12.3 yards per rush – his highest in a single game this season. Through Week 16, Mayfield's 7.0 yards per carry led all quarterbacks with at least 40 rushing attempts.

In Week 17 at Miami, completed 33-of-44 passes (75.0%) for 346 yards and two touchdowns, earning a 93.6 passer rating. His 75.0% completion percentage and 346 passing yards each marked his second-highest outputs in a game in 2025, while his 33 completions were his most in a game in 2025 and the second-most of his career.

With his two passing touchdowns in Week 17, Mayfield recorded his fifth season with 25+ passing touchdowns since entering the league in 2018, tied for the fourth-most in the NFL over that span and trailing only Patrick Mahomes (seven), Josh Allen (six) and Aaron Rodgers (six).

In the Week 18 win over Carolina, completed 16-of-22 passes (72.7%) for 203 yards and one touchdown with one interception to produce a 97.3 passer rating. He added four carries for 31  rushing yards on the night.

With his 31 rushing yards in Week 18, Mayfield increased his season total to a career-high 382 rushing yards.

COLLEGE:

Appeared in 48 career games between Texas Tech (2013) and the University of Oklahoma (2015-17), completing 1,026-of-1,497 passes (68.5%) for 14,607 yards and 131 touchdowns. Also added 404 carries for 1,083 yards and 21 rushing touchdowns.

Walked on at Texas Tech in 2013 as a true freshman and was named Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year.

Won the 2017 Heisman Trophy Award after completing 285-of-404 (70.5%) passes for 4,627 yards and 43 touchdowns for Oklahoma. Also contributed 97 rushing attempts for 311 yards and five rushing touchdowns.

Finished his collegiate career ranked second in FBS history in passing efficiency rating (175.4), third in yards per attempt (9.7), tied for fourth intouchdown passes (131), fifth in total offense (15,690 yards) and seventh in passing yards (14,607).

Set an FBS record for consecutive games with multiple touchdown passes (27).

Runs the 'Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation' with his wife, Emily.

Generated a record-breaking bid of over $43,000 for his game-worn, custom "My Cause, My Cleats" on the NFL Auction Marketplace in 2025.

Hosts an annual "Be the Ball" event through his foundation, which has raised nearly $600,000 for the Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County to empower the next generation and enhance early childhood learning.

Donated $50,000 to Team Rubicon to support communities affected by Hurricane Helene, aiding in disaster response and recovery efforts.

Hosted a bracket-style fundraising competition, raising $92,500 for five Tampa Bay charities, with the winning charity receiving a $50,000 grant.

Launched a $20,000 scholarship program supporting underfunded college athletes who receive minimal or no athletic aid.
