The Manvel, Texas native led the FBS in total touchdowns (46) and touchdown passes (43), while ranking second in passing yards (4,283)... Having started at quarterback in all ten games of the regular season, as well as the SEC Championship Game and the 85th Cotton Bowl Classic, Trask began his senior campaign with a jaw‐dropping performance during Florida's season opener at Ole Miss where he completed 30 throws on 42 attempts for 416 passing yards and six touchdowns. Trask became the sixth Gator in school history, and the first since Chris Leak (Nov. 13, 2004 against South Carolina), to throw six touchdown passes in a game. Became the first Gator since Rex Grossman (2001) to throw for three‐plus touchdowns in consecutive outings against SEC teams... Threw for 305 yards during Florida's victory over Virginia at the Orange Bowl, which is the seventh‐most passing yards by a Gators quarterback at a bowl game in school history...
