BUCCANEERS MAKE ROSTER MOVES

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today the team has signed outside linebacker Samuel Acho and promoted outside linebacker Kahzin Daniels from the practice squad to the active roster. The Buccaneers also announced that tight end Antony Auclair has been placed on Injured Reserve and wide receiver Amara Darboh has been waived.

Acho (6-3, 259) has played in 102 career games over eight seasons in the NFL, spending four seasons each with the Arizona Cardinals (2011-14) and Chicago Bears (2015-18). He has amassed 209 tackles, 17.0 sacks, 11 passes defensed, 10 forced fumbles and three interceptions since entering the league as a fourth-round selection (103rd overall) by the Cardinals in the 2011 NFL Draft. The University of Texas product and Dallas native spent the 2019 preseason with the Buffalo Bills. He will wear No. 96 for Tampa Bay.

Daniels (6-4, 240) originally entered the league as a college free agent with Tampa Bay this offseason, remaining with the team through Week 3 of the 2019 preseason. He was named second-team NCAA Division II All-America in his senior season at Charleston (W. Va), after playing 40 collegiate games and recording 161 tackles and 31.5 sacks, setting the school's all-time sack record. The Newark, New Jersey, native wears No. 41 for Tampa Bay.

Tampa Bay's active roster stands at 53.

The Buccaneers have also signed outside linebacker Quinton Bell to the practice squad.

Bell (6-4, 253) spent time on the Oakland Raiders' practice squad this season after entering the league with the Raiders as a seventh-round selection (230th overall) in the 2019 NFL Draft. He played four seasons at Prairie View A&M from 2015-18, converting from wide receiver to defensive end in his final season, and recording 42 tackles (8.5 for loss) and 7.5 sacks to earn second-team All-SWAC honors. The Long Beach, California, native will wear No. 57 for Tampa Bay.
