The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today signed running back Michael Wiley to their practice squad and released tight end Caden Prieskorn from the team's practice squad.
Wiley (5-10, 209) originally entered the NFL as a college free agent with the Washington Commanders in April, 2024. He spent the 2024 season on Washington's practice squad before signing with the Kansas City Chiefs on August 12, 2025. Wiley was waived by the Chiefs following the conclusion of the 2025 preseason. He played collegiately at the University of Arizona (2019–23), appearing in 49 career games and logging 339 carries for 1,712 yards (5.1 avg.) and 16 rushing touchdowns while adding 123 receptions for 1,150 receiving yards and 12 touchdown catches. Wiley enjoyed his most successful season as a Wildcat in 2022 when he recorded a career-high 1,120 yards from scrimmage and 11 scrimmage touchdowns, earning All-Pac-12 honorable mention recognition. He will wear No. 30 for Tampa Bay.
