TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS QUOTE SHEET 11-7-25

HEAD COACH TODD BOWLES

(On if he thinks G Ben Bredeson will be able to play on Sunday vs. New England)

"Yeah, I do."

(On if T Luke Goedeke has a chance to be activated for Sunday's game)

"He is going to be questionable. He is questionable right now. He had a good day today. We have to see how he feels and go from there."

(On how T Luke Goedeke progressed in practice throughout the week)

"He was kind of limited yesterday, but he did more today."

(On if the Florida weather plays an advantage against the New England Patriots)

"I think it is an advantage in September. Now that the humidity died down, the eighty degrees is kind of like a normal spring day down here. I do not think it will affect the game."

(On if OLB Markees Watts' hand injury is anything significant)

"Possibly two-to-three weeks, so he will be out this game."

(On if WR Chris Godwin Jr., RB Bucky Irving, OLB Haason Reddick and OLB Markees Watts are the four players he can rule out for Sunday's game)

"Yes."

(On what determines the decision to defer the kickoff if they Buccaneers win the coin toss)

"Sometimes, [it is] the wind. Sometimes, [it is] how we want to attack defensively or offensively, or who we think is going to roll [and] who we need to put out there first. It changes all the time. The offense always wants to go first; the defense always wants to go first. It depends on their kicker too, whether he has got a 'dirty ball' [or is] kicking it into the end zone…Whether we want to give up some field position early or want to gain some field position early the other way. It changes all the time."

(On whom could potentially be elevated off the Practice Squad with OLB Haason Reddick and OLB Markees Watts out for the game)

"[It is] either 'Mo' (Mohamed) [Kamara] or probably [Nick] Jackson, depending on special teams. It'd be more of a special teams role than a backup outside linebacker role."

(On if he has been pleased with LB Nick Jackson's performance throughout the season)

"[I am] very pleased with what he has been able to do, it is just a matter of time before he makes an appearance. [I am] very high on him."

(On how the team has responded to being back in practice after the Bye Week)

"They responded well – they needed the break from a physical standpoint. Mentally, they are locked in, and [there are] not too many mental errors going on, which you expect this time of year. We should be ready to go."

(On how much of a weapon K Chase McLaughlin has been this year)

"He is a huge weapon. He has been coming on for us since early on in the season. He has done a hell of a job from 50-plus [yards]. Obviously, with kickers right now, 50-plus [yards] is becoming easy, and he is going to be extinct in about two or three years [laughs]."

(On if there is enough film to fully scout second-year Patriots' QB Drake Maye)

"You have enough film to look at. You do not really look at him per se, it is more or less the scheme you are trying to defend. Obviously, he has things that he likes to do – he can throw it and run it, so he is a multipurpose quarterback. He can do it all, so you just have to play fundamentally sound football."
