HEAD COACH TODD BOWLES
(On WR Emeka Egbuka's status for Sunday)
"He's questionable right now. We'll see Sunday morning. We've got to see how he's feeling after today."
(On whether he was pleased with Egbuka's practice on Friday)
"Yes, I am."
(On if any players other than WR Chris Godwin Jr. and T Tristan Wirfs are ruled out for Sunday)
"No, just those two."
(On having a shortened week of preparation coming off of Monday Night Football)
"I mean, we got in pretty early once we got back from Houston. We started some of it last week. For the players, it doesn't affect them much other than just that normal Tuesday off. For the coaches, you've got to put in some extra leg work, but other than that, it was a normal week."
(On OL Michael Jordan's absence from practice)
"He's got a sore knee right now, so we're getting some tests run to see where he's at."
(On P Riley Dixon having a punt blocked against Houston)
"We need to block it better and he needs to get the ball off quicker."
(On if he would like to name the starting guards for Sunday's game)
"We've rotated quite a few guys, and we'll see with [Luke] Haggard and [Elijah] Klein once we make a final decision. We're close to it, but we platooned a lot of people in there. So, I really can't say for sure yet without guaranteeing it with everybody else."
(On if he expects Sunday's game to be hot and humid for the New York Jets as they travel down from the Northeast)
"I hope that'll be the case, yes."
(On facing head coaches who played for him in back-to-back weeks)
"[I'm] feeling old – definitely feeling old."
(On preparing for New York Jets QB Tyrod Taylor)
"I don't think it changes for us. The scheme is the same. Tyrod is just as athletic as Justin is. Obviously, he's played more years and he's seen a lot more ball, but it doesn't change our preparation."
