It's almost like the Bucs brought their own weather with them. The Week Two Thursday Night primetime matchup between the Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers was delayed in the first quarter due to inclement weather in Charlotte.

The Bucs had just came up with a big stop of the Panthers at midfield as safety Jordan Whitehead tackled Cam Newton as Carolina went for it on fourth-and-1. The Panthers challenge the ruling and immediately following the announcement that the play would stand as called, the field was cleared with 8:31 left in the first quarter.

Due to NFL regulations, play can resume 20 minutes after the last lightning strike.
