On Monday, June 11, more than 20 members of the 2018 Buccaneers Rookie Club, including Vita Vea, Ronald Jones, M.J. Stewartand Carlton Daviswill join together with firefighters from Tampa Fire Rescue for a morning of bowling at Pin Chasers Midtown in Tampa. The firefighters – the majority of which are in their first-year probationary period – will pair up with the rookies to enjoy some friendly competition from 10:00 – 11:45 a.m.
This is the fourth year in a row that the Buccaneers have collaborated with Tampa Fire Rescue for an outreach activity. Throughout the year, the Buccaneers rookies will participate in a variety of community outings as members of the Buccaneers Rookie Club, the team's longstanding effort to engage its youngest players with the local community. This year, the group has already visited Memorial Middle School to congratulate students on excelling in the classroom and spent time at MacDill Air Force Base to interact with service members currently stationed in Tampa. For more information on the team's community initiatives, visit **www.buccaneers.com/community**.
Monday's outreach event will lead into the Buccaneers' mandatory mini-camp, which will take place June 12-14 at One Buccaneer Place to conclude the team's offseason program.
