The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today activated cornerback Rashard Robinson from the Reserve/Injured list and wide receiver Justin Watson from the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.
Robinson (6-2, 177) has appeared in five games for Tampa Bay this season, recording two special teams tackles. He has played in 47 career games, making 18 starts, since entering the league as a fourth-round selection (No. 133 overall) by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2016 NFL Draft. Robinson has played for the 49ers (2016-17), the New York Jets (2017-18), Dallas Cowboys (2020) and Buccaneers (2021), compiling 84 career tackles to go along with 15 passes defensed, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. The Pompano Beach, Florida, native played collegiately at LSU. He wears No. 28 for Tampa Bay.
Watson (6-0, 230) joins the Buccaneers active roster for the first time this season, after being placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list on July 24. Since being selected with a fifth-round pick (No. 144 overall) by Tampa Bay in the 2018 NFL Draft, Watson has played in 39 career games for the Buccaneers, making four starts. He has recorded 23 receptions for 258 yards and two touchdowns through his first three seasons and was a member of Tampa Bay's Super Bowl LV championship team. The University of Pennsylvania product is a native of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. He wears No. 17 for the Buccaneers.
