Fourteen of the 17 players signed today were with the Buccaneers during training camp, including offensive lineman Lorenz Metz – a member of the International Player Pathway Program – who does not count against Tampa Bay's player limit for the practice squad. Tampa Bay's practice squad is currently at capacity.
Henderson (6-2, 215) joins the Buccaneers from the Carolina Panthers, by whom he was waived on Aug. 26, 2025. He originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Panthers on May 8, 2025. Henderson played collegiately at the University of Minnesota (2023-24) and Southeastern Louisiana University (2020-22), where he combined to appear in 59 career games and record 266 tackles, nine passes defensed, nine interceptions, 9.0 sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He received First-Team All-Southland recognition in 2022 after posting a career-high 90 tackles, to go alongside four passes defensed, 2.0 sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. After transferring to Minnesota, Henderson led the Golden Gophers in tackles (59) as a redshirt junior and sacks (6.0) as a redshirt senior. He will wear No. 30 for Tampa Bay.
Jones (6-6, 340) comes to Tampa Bay from the Baltimore Ravens, by whom he was waived on Aug. 26, 2025. He originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Ravens on May 5, 2025. Jones played collegiately at Auburn University (2022-24) and the University of Oregon (2021), where he combined to appear in 50 career games and tally 83 tackles, 1.5 sacks, one fumble recovery and one pass defensed. The Calera, Alabama, native will wear No. 93 for Tampa Bay.
Kamara (6-1, 253) joins the Buccaneers from the Miami Dolphins, by whom he was waived on Aug. 26, 2025. He originally entered the league as a fifth-round selection (No. 158 overall) by the Dolphins in the 2024 NFL Draft. Kamara appeared in five games for Miami during the 2024 season, compiling one tackle and one quarterback hit. He played collegiately at Colorado State University (2019-23), where he appeared in 49 career games, making 33 starts, and amassing 179 tackles (47.0 for loss), 30.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries (two returned for touchdowns) and two passes defensed. He finished his career ranked second in Colorado State history in sacks and fourth in tackles for loss. In 2023, Kamara started all 12 games and registered a career-high 13.0 sacks along with 56 tackles (17.0 for loss), earning first-team All-Mountain West honors. He ranked fifth nationally in sacks per game (1.08) and was named a finalist for the Ted Hendricks Award, presented to the nation's top defensive end. The Newark, New Jersey, native will wear No. 59 for Tampa Bay.
