Buccaneers Sign Ifedi, Place Johnson on IR

The Buccaneers have signed DE Martin Ifedi and placed DE George Johnson on injured reserve.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has placed defensive end George Johnson on Injured Reserve and signed defensive end Martin Ifedi.

Ifedi (6-3, 275) spent part of last season on Tampa Bay's practice squad and was with the team this offseason until being waived on May 2. He will wear No. 67 for Tampa Bay.

Johnson played in 11 games for the Buccaneers in 2015, totaling 23 tackles and two forced fumbles.
