5 Standouts from Bucs vs. Seahawks

A few players who impressed in the Bucs' Week 12 victory over the Seahawks.

Pictures from the Buccaneers' Week 12 matchup with the Seahawks.

1. WR Mike Evans
Evans has been one of the NFL's most productive wide receivers this season, earning a spot in the top five for touchdowns, receptions and receiving yards. Evans is likely to remain in that elite group after his performance on Sunday. He caught eight passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns, scoring the Buccaneers' only touchdowns of the day in the first quarter. Evans reached double-digit touchdowns and passed the 1,000-yard mark for the season in the process.

  1. CB Alterraun Verner**
Verner was playing with a heavy heart on Sunday after the passing of his father a few days before. And with Jude Adjei-Barimah, the Bucs' primary nickel corner, sidelined, Verner was called upon more often that he has been all season. The result was one of his best games in a Buccaneer uniform. Verner earned an interecption in the red zone, deflected a pass and recorded two tackles in the Bucs' victory.

3. DE Noah Spence
The Buccaneers recorded six sacks against a Seahawks offense that started three rookies along their offensive line, with Spence picking up 1.5 of them. Heading into the game, Spence was tied for the league-lead in sacks among rookies. Gerald McCoy also had 1.5 sacks for Tampa Bay while Kwon Alexander, Ryan Russell and Robert Ayers each recorded one.

  1. QB Jameis Winston**
Winston completed 21 of 28 passes for 220 yards, two scores and one interception in the Bucs' victory. Since Week 5, Winston has 14 touchdown passes with just three interceptions. Winston finished the game with a passer rating of 106.3, marking the fifth time this season he's finished with a rating of 100 or better. Nine different players caught passes from Winston in the Bucs' victory over the Seahawks.

5. P Bryan Anger
Anger has quietly put together an excellent season after joining the Buccaneers last spring, and his performance was key in the Bucs' Week 12 victory. Anger booted four punts, all of which landed inside Seattle's 20-yard line. He netted 40 yards per punt with a long of 56.
