Buccaneers Waive TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins

Team Promotes TE Alan Cross From Practice Squad

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has waived tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins.

Seferian-Jenkinsplayed in two games for Tampa Bay this season, catching three passes for 44 yards and one touchdown.

"We are very disappointed in today's news," said General Manager Jason Licht. "After careful consideration, we felt this was the right decision at this time."

The team also announced that tight end Alan Cross has been promoted from the practice squad to the active roster. Cross, who wears No. 45, has been with Tampa Bay since this past offseason and has been on the team's practice squad since September 13
