The Bucs took LB Jack Cichy from the University of Wisconsin with the 202nd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He's affectionately known as 'Three-Sack Jack' for registering three sacks on three consecutive plays in the 2015 Holiday Bowl against USC. He was awarded Defensive MVP Honors for his effort.

Leading up to the Holiday Bowl in 2015, Cichy recorded 60 total tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss and four passes defensed in 13 games. In his Wisconsin career, the Wisconsin native registered 121 total tackles, 15.0 tackles for loss, six passes defensed and two forced fumbles.

Cichy saw his first action during his freshman season in 2013, playing in four games. He redshirted in 2014 and returned for his standout 2015 season. He followed up that campaign making seven starts at inside linebacker in 2016 for the Badgers, recording 60 takcles, 7.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.

Injury kept him out of the 2017 season before he declared for the NFL Draft instead of applying for a sixth year of NCAA eligibility.

Cichy will join a Bucs' linebacker corps that includes veterans Lavonte David and Kwon Alexander. LB Devante Bond, another fellow sixth round linebacker pick, is also part of the linebacker unit that the Wisconsin product will join.
