3 Players to Watch at Training Camp, July 29

A few players to keep an eye on during Saturday's training camp practice.

Pictures from the Bucs' training camp practice on Friday.

  1. LB Kendell Beckwith**
Beckwith suffered a knee injury at the end of his final college season, so the Buccaneers knew he may take some time getting back on the field. There was no timetable for his return and training camp seemed out of sight, but Beckwith was ready to go during the Bucs' first practice on Friday. Beckwith will be competing with Devante Bond for the starting strong side outside linebacker job, but is working his way up from the second team. Bond took the first-team reps on Friday.

  1. WR Adam Humphries**
Since arriving in Tampa Bay, Humphries has always performed well during training camp and the preseason. He made the Bucs' roster as a tryout player two years ago and earned the job as the Bucs' slot receiver last summer. Humphries was lined up in the slot on Friday, with DeSean Jackson and Mike Evans on the outside. He had a strong performance on Friday and has continued to be the consistent, reliable receiver the Buccaneers have come to expect.

3. K Roberto Aguayo
The battle for the starting kicking job will be a tightly-contested one, with Aguayo competing with Nick Folk to keep his starting job. The Buccaneers didn't do any special teams work on Friday, but could today. Unlike many positions, the kicking job will largely be determined by each player's accuracy during camp and the preseason. It will be interesting to see which player can build momentum as the Bucs prepare for their preseason game.
