The Buccaneers dropped to 1-1 when they fell, 40-7, to the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon in Arizona. The Bucs went into the half down by 24 and were unable to rebound in the second half.

Offensively, the Buccaneers struggled. Jameis Winston was intercepted four times, lost one fumble and finished the day with 243 passing yards. Winston's leading receiver, Mike Evans, finished the day with six catches for 70 yards. Adam Humphries was close behind with six catches for 67 yards.

The Buccaneers were without Doug Martin for the majority of the game after Martin was sidelined with a hamstring injury. Without their starting running back, the Buccaneers rushed for just 85 total yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, Brent Grimes, Kwon Alexander and Chris Conte all finished tied for the team lead in tackles with seven. Noah Spence recorded the Bucs' only sack, which was the first of his career.

The Buccaneers are set to host the Rams next weekend at Raymond James Stadium, which will be the team's home opener.
