Buccaneers Fall to Cowboys in Week 15

The Buccaneers dropped to 8-6 on Sunday when they fell, 26-20, to the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

The Bucs went into halftime trailing, 17-6, but came on strong in the second half. Jameis Winston tossed a pair of long touchdowns, one from 42 yards to Adam Humphries and another from 25 yards to Cam Brate, to give the Buccaneers a 20-17 lead in the third quarter.

But Dallas tacked on three field goals in the fourth quarter to go up, 26-20. The Buccaneers had an opportunity with under two minutes to play, but were unable to find the end zone.

After a slow start, Jameis Winston finished the game completing 17 of 34 passes for 247 yards. Brate led the team in receiving, catching five passes for 73 yards and a score. Mike Evans also had four receptions while Charles Sims had three. Doug Martin carried the ball 16 times for 42 yards.

Kwon Alexander has an impressive 21 tackles, 11 of which were solo. He also forced a fumble. Heading into the game, Alexander led the NFL in solo tackles. Keith Tandy had nine tackles while Lavonte David and Will Gholston each had sacks.
