Buccaneers Make Practice Squad Moves

The Bucs announced a series of roster moves on Tuesday.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed defensive end Kourtnei Brown, running back Russell Hansbrough and offensive lineman Kyler Kerbyson to the practice squad and released safety Trae Elston from the practice squad.

Brown (6-4, 253) spent this past offseason and preseason with Tampa Bay, before being waived on September 3. Last season, Brown played in five games (one with the Houston Texans and four games with the Buccaneers), recording two tackles. The Charlotte native originally entered the league as a college free agent out of Clemson in 2012. He will wear No. 79 for Tampa Bay.

Hansbrough (5-9, 195) made his NFL debut with Tampa Bay in Week 5 at Carolina and has spent time on the Buccaneers' practice squad this season. He will wear No. 44 for Tampa Bay.

Kerbyson (6-4, 318) entered the NFL as a college free agent with the New England Patriots this past offseason. The former Tennessee Volunteer spent this past offseason and preseason with the Patriots, before being waived on August 15. The Knoxville, Tennessee spent time with the Buccaneers this past preseason and will wear No. 60 for Tampa Bay.
