The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today announced that the club has re-signed offensive lineman Dan Feeney and tight end Ko Kieft.
Feeney (6-4, 310) has appeared in 132 career games, making 75 starts, between the Los Angeles Chargers, New York Jets, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Primarily an interior lineman, Feeney has made 52 starts and logged more than 3,300 career snaps at guard, to go with 21 starts and more than 1,500 career snaps at center.
He originally entered the league as a third-round selection (No. 71 overall) by the Chargers in the 2017 NFL draft, after which he received PFWA All-Rookie Team (2017) recognition. The Orland Park, Illinois, native played five collegiate seasons at Indiana University (2012–16), starting 46 games. He was a two-time first-team All-American (2015–16) and a two-time First-Team All-Big Ten (2015–16) honoree.
Kieft (6-5, 265) has appeared in 53 career games, making 19 starts, over four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A core special teams player, Kieft ranks second on the team in special teams snaps (933) and special teams tackles (24) since 2022. Offensively, he has accrued eight receptions for 82 yards and two touchdowns.
He originally entered the league as a sixth-round selection (No. 218 overall) by the Buccaneers in the 2022 NFL draft. The Sioux Center, Iowa, native played five collegiate seasons at the University of Minnesota (2017-21), appearing in 49 career games and recording 12 receptions for 166 yards and two touchdowns. In his final season with the Gophers in 2022, Kieft blocked for an offense that totaled 4,681 yards and averaged 25.5 points per game, earning him All-Big Ten honorable mention recognition.
