Bucs Activate DT Spence, Waive OL Warren

The Bucs added depth along the defensive line on Saturday by activating defensive tackle Akeem Spence.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have activated defensive tackle Akeem Spence from the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.

Spence (6-1, 307) was placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list on July 31, before being placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list on September 1. On October 20, he began his 21-day practice period.

In two seasons with Tampa Bay, Spence has started 19 of 32 games played, totaling 66 tackles, six tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks and three fumble recoveries.

The team also announced that they have waived offensive lineman Jeremiah Warren. Warren played in three games for the team this season.
