Bucs Injury Update (10/7)

DT Warren Sapp (left hand fracture) practiced for the second consecutive day and was upgraded to probable for Sunday`s game. RT Jason Odom (low back strain) did not complete practice and is listed as questionable. TE Patrick Hape (concussion) and DE Steve White (left ankle sprain) are listed as questionable and probably will not play at Green Bay. Buccaneers Head Coach Tony Dungy said CB Floyd Young (left hamstring strain) would definitely not play against the Packers.

Dungy kept a close eye on the progress of WR Bert Emanuel today and is hopeful that he can play on Sunday.

Though Emanuel (right hamstring strain) is still listed as questionable, Dungy said that he was very encouraged with how Emanuel performed in today`s practice.

LB Don Davis is listed as probable, but may miss his second consecutive game with a right hamstring strain. DT Anthony McFarland (left ankle sprain) and WR Jacquez Green (right foot sprain) are probable, but had a solid day of practice.

New additions to the injury list included QB Eric Zeier (right knee sprain) and WR Darnell McDonald (right leg strain). Both are probable for Sunday's contest.

ROAD WARRIORS

When the Bucs received the schedule last April, they immediately circled a two-week period featuring back-to-back road games against NFC foes Minnesota and Green Bay. Dungy has talked about the importance of defeating Green Bay on the road this week in a crucial NFC Division match up.

"I think its tough for us not to win the division without beating Minnesota and Green Bay early on," Dungy said after practice. "So, we understand the importance of this game, and if you want to be a championship team, you have to be able to win on the road. Youre not going to be a great team if you just win at home."
