The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed cornerback Mariel Cooper and waived running back Quayvon Hicks.

Cooper (5-11, 192) originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Washington Redskins in the 2016 offseason, before being waived at the end of the 2016 preseason. A native of Sumter, South Carolina, Cooper played collegiately at The Citadel. He will wear No. 25 for the Buccaneers.
