Bucs-Titans Inactives: Evans Won't Play

WR Mike Evans will not suit up for the season opener due to a hamstring injury…The Titans will be without defensive starters DT Sammie Lee Hill and CB Jason McCourty.


The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tennessee Titans named their game day inactives on Sunday at 2:55 p.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week One matchup at Raymond James Stadium. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.

The Buccaneers will be without starting wide receiver Mike Evans, whos is recovering from a hamstring injury, and defensive end T.J. Fatinikun, who is battling a shoulder ailment.
