On Monday afternoon, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers great John Lynch will announce his retirement at a press conference held at One Buccaneer Place. That press conference will be carried live on Buccaneers.com, beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Lynch's retirement will bring to a close one of the finest NFL careers of the last two decades. During his 15 seasons in the league, Lynch earned an enormous amount of respect from his peers for his performance on the field, his commitment to his team and his approach to both football and life.

That respect has little to do with the statistics that Lynch compiled, other than wins or losses. Still, he does leave the game with some rather impressive numbers on his resume, as well as a packed trophy case.

There will be much more on John Lynch, his career and his retirement on Buccaneers.com during and after Monday's press conference. For now, though, as Lynch prepares to say farewell to the game, let's take a quick look at how some of those numbers stack up and just how many awards he amassed during his career.
