Biometric Policy
Effective Date: May 19, 2026.
This Biometric Policy provides information regarding how the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ("Bucs") may collect, use, disclose and retain certain biometric information and related information about you as described below. Additional information regarding our privacy practices is available in our broader Privacy Policy.
Express Entry. Express Entry allows visitors to enter Raymond James Stadium using biometric authentication. To enable Express Entry, we collect an image of your face to derive a facial scan template that can be used to identify you when you request entry to the stadium and related areas.
Identity Verification for Ticket Purchases. To protect against fraudulent ticket purchases and for general security purposes, we have also implemented a biometric identity verification service provided by Wicket, a third-party service provider.
Where identity verification is required for ticket purchases, you will be required to provide a "selfie photo," along with a copy of a government-issued identification to complete the facial recognition identity verification process.
We will not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from your picture, biometric information, and other personal information gathered for the activities described above or otherwise disclose this information except to our authorized service providers or affiliated third parties and as further described in our Privacy Policy.
We will destroy or direct our authorized service providers to destroy biometric information within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law, but generally no later than twenty-four months after the date upon which the purpose for collecting and/or using the biometric identifier expires.
You may opt-out of or withdraw your consent from the program at any time by emailing your request to access-optout@wicketsoft.com with the subject line "face recognition opt-out."
