TB-AZ Inactives: David, Ward Return

The Buccaneers' defense gets two key players back this week as both LB Lavonte David and S T.J. Ward have been cleared to play

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Arizona Cardinals named their game-day inactives on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET, 95 minutes before kickoff of their Week Six contest at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.

The Buccaneers' inactive list includes four defensive players who could not play due to injury: LB Kwon Alexander, CB Josh Robinson, DE Ryan Russell and S Keith Tandy. However, Tampa Bay's defense got some good news on Sunday as both LB Lavonte David and S T.J. Ward have been cleared to play. David and Ward have missed the last two games due to injuries suffered in Minnesota in Week Three.

All four players who were listed as questionable on Tampa Bay's Friday injury report are ready to play on Sunday. In addition to David and Ward, that list included G Ali Marpet and DE Robert Ayers, both starters.

Arizona will be without defensive linemen Robert Nkemdiche and Olsen Pierre, both of whom were on the midweek injury report.
