Winston Headlines All-Under 25 Team

Jameis Winston and Kwon Alexander were selected to USA Today's All-Under 25 team on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, USA Today's Steve Ruiz released his "All-Under 25" team – a list that included three current Buccaneers. Ruiz has Jameis Winston as his starting quarterback on the team and Kwon Alexander as one of his three starting linebackers while Mike Evans narrowly missed the cut and was listed as a reserve at wide receiver.

Ruiz was specifically high on Winston, who edged out Tennessee's Marcus Mariota for the starting spot. Mariota was listed as a reserve.

"The Buccaneers have found their franchise quarterback," Ruiz wrote. "Winston quelled any fears about his funky release and questionable decision-making doing him in at the pro level. While Winston can still improve in both of those aspects, he belonged as the leader of an offense. From pocket presence to making tight-window throws, Winston did everything you expect out of NFL passer. And at 22, he's got the highest ceiling of any young QB in the league."

Alexander was named a starter alongside Baltimore's C.J. Mosley and Minnesota's Anthony Barr. Philadelphia's Jordan Hicks was listed as a reserve.

"Kwon Alexander is a 21-year-old playmaker who will only get better as he learns to harness his limitless athleticism," Ruiz wrote.

While Evans didn't earn a starting spot, he was in good company. New York's Odell Beckham, Houston's DeAndre Hopkins and Jacksonville's Allen Robinson were listed as Ruiz's three starting wide-outs. To view the complete list, click **HERE**.
