After having just six catches in the first four games, Wright hauled in seven catches for 91 yards against the Eagles in the breakout game of his rookie season.

Under the lights of Thursday Night Football, Tim Wright caught his first-career touchdown pass from Mike Glennon in the 4th quarter.

Wright found the end zone again the following week in Seattle while catching four passes for 58 yards in the game.

In Detroit, Wright caught a career-high eight passes for 75 yards in helping the Buccaneers pull off the win against the Lions.

Thanks to a quick start to the scoring by Bobby Rainey, the passing game wasn't needed as much against Buffalo. Wright still managed to find the end zone for his third touchdown on the year in the 27-6 win.

Wright had arguably his best game of the season against the 49ers, making seven catches for 82 yards and a touchdown.

In the season finale, Wright found the end zone one last time to give him five touchdowns in his rookie campaign...a Buccaneers rookie record for tight ends.
