QB Fernando Mendoza, Indiana
The Heisman Trophy winner and Davey O'Brien Award recipient led the FBS in passing touchdowns in 2025 with 41 (single-season school record) against six interceptions. Fernando Mendoza spurred Indiana to a National Championship and is an outstanding processor. He can make any throw with touch and accuracy. Mendoza pairs a quick release with a high IQ pre-snap. Mendoza may not have dynamic mobility skills and he did benefit from Indiana's RPO-based system, but his understanding of how to attack coverage and precision from the pocket make him a tantalizing prospect.
QB Ty Simpson, Alabama
Ty Simpson accumulated 30 touchdowns in 2025 for the Tide, commanding their spread offense. He only has 15 career starts after spending time as an underclassman behind Bryce Young and Jalen Milroe but he is a speedy processor with the capability of making plays off-script on bootlegs. Simpson ranked seventh in the FBS with 305 completions and is mechanically proficient. He has the ability to shift protections at the line, showing the staff's trust. Simpson could re-set the launch point with ease and became a maestro at hitting targets for YAC in the short-to-intermediate area against two-high shells. He possesses superb depth on his drops and Simpson is projected to go in the second round.
QB Garrett Nussmeier, LSU
Garrett Nussmeier has an aggressive, gunslinger mentality on the field and can fit darts into tight windows. Nussmeier has a strong arm and has football running in his veins as the son of a longtime college/NFL coach. He plays with a tough disposition and his upbringing shows up in his command from the pocket. Nussmeier works through progressions with ease and the gritty player is expected to go in the third round. Although an abdominal injury limited his 2025 campaign, Nussmeier's arm talent and effectiveness on back-shoulder and fade scenarios in the red zone make him an intriguing prospect.
QB Drew Allar, Penn State
A three-year starter at Penn State, Drew Allar began his collegiate tenure with an FBS-record 311 passing attempts without a single interception and finished with 73 total touchdowns (third-most in school history) before suffering an ankle injury during his senior campaign. Allar effortlessly creates drive and velocity down the field on vertical shots and stands firm in the face of pressure. He possesses improvisation skills, averaging 8.9 yards per scramble in 2025 and can make every throw downfield with stellar awareness in the pocket to climb.
