Both the Buccaneers and Panthers had at least 10 players listed on their respective injury reports ahead of their Week 5 matchup. The Buccaneers' top two running backs, Doug Martin and Charles Sims, were unable to practice while the team's starting defensive tackles, Gerald McCoy and Clinton McDonald, were both listed on the report. McCoy was unable to practice while McDonald was limited. The Panthers' starting quarterback, Cam Newton, was among seven Panthers sitting out Thursday's practice.
