After catching the game-winning touchdown against the Panthers in Week 17, Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has been selected as the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week. Evans caught a 10-yard touchdown from Jameis Winston to break a 10-10 tie with 3:13 to play in the game. Tampa Bay would ultimately win, 17-16. Evans finished the game with five catches for 65 yards.

A look back at Mike Evans' 12 touchdowns during the 2016 season.

Evans is the third Buccaneer to win the award this year after Roberto Aguayo won it in Week 5 and Keith Tandy was selected in Week 14.

Evans finished the season with 12 touchdown catches, tying a Buccaneer single-season record. Evans owns the record after catching 12 touchdowns during his rookie season in 2014.

He caught 96 passes in 2016, the second-most ever by a Buc in a single season, and had the third-most receiving yards with 1,321. For his efforts, Evans was selected as a first-team All-Pro by Pro Football Focus.

Also nominated for the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week award were Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, Steelers quarterback Landry Jones, Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Titans defensive end Jurrell Casey.
