After a 28-23 loss to New England in Week 10, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will try to get back in the win column in Week 11 against another AFC East opponent, as they head to Buffalo for a game against the 6-3 Bills on Sunday, November 16 at Highmark Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET.
The Buccaneers loss to New England dropped the team's record to 6-3, though they retained a 1.5-game lead over Carolina in the NFC South. Baker Mayfield threw for 273 yards and three touchdowns but it wasn't enough to counter a Patriots offense that thrived on big plays, including a 72-yard touchdown catch and scoring runs of 69 and 55 yards. After racking up 15 sacks over the three games that led up to their Week Nine bye, the Buccaneers were only able to get Patriots quarterback Drake Maye down once for a one yard.
The Bills also lost in Week 10, leaving Miami with a surprising 30-13 defeat at the hands of a Dolphins team that came in with a 2-7 record. The Buffalo defense gave up 197 rushing yards, 174 of them to De'Von Achane, and overall surrendered 7.0 yards per play. Reigning MVP Josh Allen threw for 306 yards and two touchdowns but was picked off once and sacked three times. Miami kept Buffalo's high-powered offense off the scoreboard until the fourth quarter.
The Buccaneers will be playing a regular-season game in Buffalo for just the fourth time in 50 seasons, thanks to scheduling anomalies prior to the 2002 realignment that kept them from playing a road game against the Bills until 2009. Buffalo won the three previous matches at their home park, most recently in 2023, though the Bucs do lead the all-time series, 8-5.
